1. Who We Are & What RMedQ Does
RMedQ is an outpatient department (OPD) queue management and patient scheduling platform developed and operated by Rashuv Technologies, a technology company incorporated and operating in India. RMedQ is a product under the RashuvMed healthcare division.
RMedQ enables clinics and hospitals to manage OPD patient queues digitally. Patients can book a queue token online, receive a real-time estimated consultation time (ETC), and track their queue position without waiting physically in the clinic. Clinic receptionists and doctors use the platform to manage their daily patient flow.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing rmedq.rashuv.com, scanning a clinic QR code, booking an OPD token, or registering a clinic account on RashuvMed, you agree to these Terms. If you are acting on behalf of a clinic, hospital, or nursing home, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that institution to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue use of the platform immediately.
3. Clinic Operator Responsibilities
Clinics and healthcare providers ("Clinic Operators") who register on RashuvMed accept the following responsibilities:
- Accurate information: You must provide accurate clinic name, doctor details, consultation hours, and fee information. Patients rely on this to make decisions about their visit.
- Patient data custody: You are responsible for how your clinic staff accesses and uses patient data visible through the RMedQ reception console. You must not share console access credentials with unauthorized personnel.
- Compliance with healthcare regulations: Operating a clinic using RMedQ does not relieve you of your obligations under applicable Indian healthcare regulations, including those set by the Medical Council of India, state health departments, or applicable state clinical establishment acts.
- Acceptable use: You must not use RMedQ to collect patient data for purposes beyond OPD queue management, or to send unsolicited communications to patients through the platform.
- Account security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your admin PIN and session credentials. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Patient Use of the Platform
Patients who use RMedQ to book OPD tokens agree to the following:
- Accurate details: You must provide your correct name, age, sex, and mobile number when booking a token. Providing false details to obtain a queue position is not permitted.
- One active token per visit: The platform is designed for genuine OPD visits. Booking multiple tokens at the same clinic for the same day to reserve a preferred position is prohibited.
- Arrival obligation: A booked token does not guarantee consultation if you are not physically present at the clinic when your token is called. The clinic has the right to skip your token if you are absent.
- No commercial use: Patients may not use RMedQ for any commercial purpose, including reselling or transferring queue positions.
- Mobile number verification: OTP verification via SMS is required for token booking. You must have access to the mobile number you register with.
5. Subscription, Billing & Free Tier
RMedQ offers the following access tiers for clinic operators:
- Free Tier: Qualifying small clinics may access a limited version of RMedQ at no charge. The free tier is subject to usage limits (such as daily token capacity) and may be modified or discontinued with 30 days' notice.
- Paid Subscription: Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as agreed at onboarding. Subscription fees are due in advance. We will communicate pricing clearly before you commit to a paid plan.
- Price Changes: We will notify active paid subscribers at least 30 days before any increase in subscription fees. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
- Taxes: All fees are exclusive of applicable GST. GST will be added at the prevailing rate for B2B transactions in India.
Patient use of RMedQ to book OPD tokens is free. RMedQ does not charge patients any platform fee for queue booking. Any consultation fee is between the patient and the clinic and is not collected by Rashuv Technologies.
6. Refunds & Cancellation
For clinic operators:
- You may cancel your paid subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for unused days within a billing period.
- If RMedQ experiences a verified, documented outage lasting more than 72 continuous hours in a single calendar month due to causes within our control, we will credit the equivalent pro-rata amount of that downtime against your next invoice. Credits are not redeemable as cash.
- Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis for billing errors (e.g., double charges). Contact [email protected] within 14 days of the billing date.
For patients:
- Patients do not pay Rashuv Technologies directly, so there is no refund mechanism applicable through RMedQ for consultation fees. Any fee dispute is between the patient and the clinic.
7. Service Availability & Uptime
We operate RMedQ on Google Firebase infrastructure (Cloud Firestore, Firebase Hosting, Cloud Functions) hosted in Google's Asia-South1 region (Mumbai). We target a best-effort availability of the platform during clinic operating hours.
We do not currently offer a financially guaranteed Service Level Agreement (SLA) with contractual uptime percentages for the standard free or paid tiers. Enterprise or institutional contracts may negotiate separate SLA terms.
Planned maintenance is performed during off-peak hours (typically late night IST) and announced via the clinic dashboard where feasible. We are not liable for disruptions caused by:
- Google Firebase or Google Cloud Platform infrastructure incidents
- Internet service provider or telecom carrier outages affecting SMS delivery
- Your clinic's local internet connectivity
- Third-party browser or operating system incompatibilities
8. Third-Party Service Processors
RMedQ relies on the following third-party services to operate. By using RMedQ, you acknowledge that your data (or your patients' data where applicable) passes through these processors:
| Service | Provider | Purpose | Data Involved |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloud Database & Hosting | Google Firebase / Google Cloud Platform | Storing all clinic, queue, and patient token data; hosting the web app | Patient name, mobile (hashed), age, sex, token data; clinic settings |
| Transactional Email | Resend (resend.com) | Sending booking confirmation emails to patients who provide an email address | Patient name, email address, token number, clinic name |
| SMS & OTP Delivery | Firebase Authentication / configured SMS gateway | Sending OTP for mobile number verification and queue status SMS alerts | Patient mobile number, OTP code, token status message |
| Android App Distribution | Google Play Store | Distributing the RMedQ Android companion app | Subject to Google Play's own privacy policy for app distribution |
| DNS & DDoS Protection | Cloudflare | DNS resolution and network security for rmedq.rashuv.com and rashuv.com | IP addresses, request metadata (not patient record data) |
Each of these providers maintains their own privacy and data processing policies. We select processors that comply with applicable data protection standards and are bound by appropriate data processing agreements where required.
9. Data Handling & Deletion
Detailed information about what data we collect, how long we retain it, and how you can request deletion is covered in our RashuvMed Privacy Policy.
In summary:
- Active token data is stored in Cloud Firestore and is live during the clinic's operating session for that date.
- Archived token records are retained for a rolling period to support clinic audit trails and patient history look-up for repeat visits.
- Account deletion for clinics: Clinic operators may request full account and data deletion by emailing [email protected]. We will process verified deletion requests within 30 days. Deletion is irreversible — archived patient queue records associated with the clinic will be permanently erased.
- Patient data deletion: Patients may request deletion of their mobile number and associated token history by contacting us or requesting the clinic receptionist to initiate the erasure. See the Privacy Policy for the full process.
10. Browser Storage (localStorage)
The RMedQ web application stores certain data locally in your browser's localStorage (not cookies). This is necessary for the app to function correctly as a Progressive Web App (PWA) and to maintain your session state without requiring repeated logins.
The following data is stored locally in your browser:
- Active token reference — your current token ID so the app can show your live queue position when you reopen the page
- Authenticated patient session — your verified mobile number and display name, so you don't have to re-verify on every visit during the same session
- Clinic selection — the last clinic you selected, to improve the booking experience on return visits
- Theme preference — your light/dark mode setting
- Language preference — your selected interface language (English/Hindi)
- Clinic operator session — if you are a receptionist or doctor, your admin role and PIN session state
This data is stored only on your own device and is not transmitted to our servers independently. It can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's site data for rmedq.rashuv.com. Clearing this data will log you out of any active session.
RMedQ does not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or analytics tracking scripts.
11. Intellectual Property
The RMedQ software, RashuvMed brand, user interface design, source code, and all related documentation are the exclusive intellectual property of Rashuv Technologies. Your subscription or use of the platform grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform for its intended purpose. No ownership rights are transferred.
You may not reverse-engineer, copy, redistribute, sublicense, or create derivative works based on RMedQ or RashuvMed without prior written permission from Rashuv Technologies.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Rashuv Technologies shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from platform unavailability, including loss of clinic revenue during a downtime event
- Any clinical outcome or patient health consequences — RMedQ is a scheduling tool, not a clinical system
- Data loss arising from a patient or clinic operator clearing their own browser storage or device data
- SMS delivery failures caused by telecom carriers
Our total aggregate liability to any clinic operator shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by that operator to Rashuv Technologies in the three (3) calendar months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Force Majeure
Rashuv Technologies shall not be in breach of these Terms, nor liable for any failure or delay in performance, where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, or extreme weather events
- Government orders, regulatory action, or nationwide internet shutdowns
- Extended outages of Google Firebase, Google Cloud Platform, or Cloudflare infrastructure
- Cyberattacks, DDoS attacks, or other malicious third-party actions directed at our infrastructure
- Telecom network failures affecting SMS delivery across India
We will notify affected clinic operators as soon as reasonably practicable of any force majeure event and its expected duration.
14. Modifications to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the platform, applicable law, or our operating practices. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Effective Date" at the top of this document
- Display a notice in the RMedQ clinic dashboard for registered clinic operators at least 14 days before the changes take effect
- For changes that significantly affect patient rights, post a visible notice on the booking interface
Your continued use of RMedQ after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you may cancel your account before the effective date.
15. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.
